Your first visit
A talk, a table and a plan
A first visit takes about 75 minutes. We talk first, then you rest on a padded table while the needles are in place. Before you leave, you know what we did and what we suggest next, and you decide whether to come back. Return visits take about 45 minutes.

Good to know
Before you come
Eat something light
Come fed, not stuffed, and drink water. Skip a hard workout right before.
Tell us first
Pregnancy, blood thinners or a bleeding disorder, a pacemaker or other implanted device, lymph node removal, or a fear of needles.
What you may feel
Many people feel relaxed or sleepy. Mild soreness or light bruising at a point can happen.
When to see a doctor instead
For sudden severe pain, chest pain, new weakness or numbness, or loss of bladder or bowel control, see a doctor first. In an emergency, call 911.
